Application

Root canal treatment with or without depot phoresis ® :
Cupral ® is introduced into the root canal with the lentulo.
For the depot phorese ®, Cupral ® should be brought to a creamy consistency with distilled water.

Indirect pulp capping:
The paste is applied in a thin layer to the cavity floor. The surface can then be dried with the hot air blower. The underfill is placed over it without pressure.

Treatment of periodontal diseases:
Usually, the Cupral ® is applied with a spatula or directly with the dosing syringe. If pockets are clearly formed, a cotton thread impregnated with Cupral ® can be inserted into the pocket. Furthermore, it is possible to remove the pockets with a sponge impregnated with Cupral ®-soaked sponge (maximum exposure time 20 min) or to apply the paste directly into the pocket with a brush.

Indication / Purpose

For root canal treatment with or without depot phoresis ®.
Also as a medicinal interlining.
For indirect pulp capping.
For augmentative treatment of periodontopathies.

Ingredients

Highly dispersed calcium hydroxide, copper II sulfate, calcium sulfate, copper II hydroxide, methyl cellulose, distilled water.

Application example:

Cupral ® has been proven for many years as a broad-spectrum therapeutic agent without resistance formation in periodontology and endodontics.

Besides the high pH of >12.4, Cupral contains ® additionally contains a Cu ion doping. Through a special regeneration process, this has a permanent germ-reducing effect.

The different reaction pathways lead to a polyvalent efficacy. Compared to healthy tissue, Cupral ® behaves gently.
The reason for this is the membrane formation also known from calcium hydroxide preparations, which prevents deeper "tissue damage".

Furthermore, Cupral ® is characterized by its ease of use. For periodontitis treatment, the already prepared paste is usually applied directly into the pocket using a cotton thread as a carrier material, a spatula or the dosing tip, or as in the present case example with the Lentulo.

Application

Before use, shake Cupral ® liquid vigorously before use.
The Cupral ® liquid should then be withdrawn through the syringe insert of the bottle using a syringe suitable for the application.

Root canal treatment with and without depot phoresis. ®:
Cupral ® liquid is introduced into the root canal and then aspirated.

Treatment of periodontal disease:
The gingival pocket is rinsed with Cupral ® liquid by means of a syringe. The liquid is also aspirated.

Indication / Purpose

For root canal treatment (canal irrigation before and after preparation) of all tooth types, especially also for depot phoresis treatment. For irrigation of periodontal pockets and/or treatment of gingivitis simplex.

Ingredients

Calcium hydroxide-highly dispersed, copper-II-sulfate, calcium sulfate,
Copper-II-hydroxide, methyl cellulose, distilled water.

Application example:

Middle-aged patient with pocket abscess on tooth 47.

Immediately after diagnosis, anesthesia was administered, followed by pocket spreading and closed curettage with Piezon Master. This was followed by intensive irrigation with Cupral ® liquid (10 ml) was used for intensive irrigation. The Cupral ® liquid was taken directly from the bottle with a suitable syringe through the syringe insert after brief vigorous shaking.
Finally, Cupral ® paste was applied.
The whole treatment took only three minutes without the anesthetic syringe.
After 2 days, the patient was called in for another rinse with Cupral ® liquid.

The advantages of Cupral ®s- a complex of highly dispersed calcium hydroxide and ionically bonded copper compounds - also offer reliable protection against periodontal pathogenic bacteria in Cupral ® liquid offer reliable protection against periodontal pathogenic bacteria.
This is a ready-to-use, antibiotic-free rinsing solution for root canals and especially for PA pockets.

Cupral ® liquid is significantly more effective than CHX preparations, without their well-known disadvantages, such as discoloration and impaired taste.
